" VisioP&ID Process Designer enabled us to complete the P&IDs for an export order contract using only one engineer and in a fraction of the time it would have taken us to do the same work using a CAD package with specially trained resources."

As a manufacturer of equipment, most of the solutions provided by our client are identical (partly or wholly) in nature to each other. The client was looking for a cost effective and easy to use P&ID tool to create components and subsystems (assemblies) which could be reused frequently without re-engineering. They also wanted a solution that would avoid the use of AutoCAD and allowed their process engineers to develop P&IDs without any special training or costly CAD licences.

While researching and evaluating various solutions, Bundaberg Walkers found VisioP&ID Process Designer as the best custom-fit solution for their requirements. The client was seeking a cost effective solution that could help them to create customized symbols that were reusable and could be used again without any re-work. Being a specialized manufacturer of equipment, the client needed a solution that could be customized as per their requirements appropriately.

With the help of our solution, the client was able to create construction sets of their sub-systems by reusing the parts of P&IDs that had been created previously. Thus, Visio P&ID Process Designer helped them to save man-hour cost & time and eliminated the errors that used to happen during replication of information for sub-system and component creation. They successfully used our solution to configure their project requirements, tagging systems and customized symbols as per their company standards.
